Locked Surveys and Charging Cards (And ignore the locked address email)

Hi Everyone, 

So by now all the surveys are locked and you should have received an email about your card being charged. (Please please PLEASE ignore the locked address email, that was a mistake I'm getting remedied, you will still be able to change your address when it comes time to shipping!)

My manufacturers are hard at work right now and I'm hoping that I'll get everything shipped to me by the end of July! I've already gotten mock-ups of the patches, sample pins are being made, and the majority of the zine art is done (and looks SPECTACULAR!)

So with everything moving forward it's looking like smooth sailing! (fingers crossed, knock on wood!)

So close to 100%, you all are killing it!

I decided to make it easier on everyone and I'm extending the Etsy bundles until the 25th, that way people don't get confused from where to order from. I also just started putting in the mold orders today, so as I get sample pics I'll share them!

Also: Today is the last day for the Mermaid Charity zine submissions! 

Whether or not you are a professional artist, just dabbling, or even a casual doodler, and if you've ever drawn a mermaid I would love to include it in the zine! (just not copyrighted/fanart please)

We're almost all the way done with surveys! 

I'll be getting the funds on Monday,  so manufacturing will begin soon.  This means I am going to begin locking orders starting on the 25th! If you have any changes to your order you want to make, I recommend making them soon! Survey submitted after the 25th will automatically be locked.(The Pre-Order shop will also be closing on the 25th!)

Now I know a lot of people have been unable to find their surveys. That is totally fine, and I am able to resend surveys if they are truly missing. But in case you're not sure, here is a handy list of steps to take if you can't find your survey:

• Check the email that you have connected to your Kickstarter. If it isn't an inbox you check regularly, then maybe change it to a more maintained account.
• Check your spam/junk folder. As this is being sent through backerkit, your account may have automatically filtered it as spam. 
• Search the keywords: "Folklore"  "Emily Cannon" "BackerKit"

If all of these fail then please message me on Kickstarter!

Surveys are Out! (& B-Grade Lottery)

Be sure to check your inboxes because now's the time to fill out what you would like for your pins! These surveys help me figure out the type of pins to order. So the faster they're filled out, the quicker I can order them.

I've also decided to include the B-Grade Lottery to the list of add-ons. When pins are ordered, often times there is an expected selection of pins that have flaws (minor scratches or discoloration) that would make these pins into B-Grades. Because it is impossible to predict the number of B-Grades, I set up the lottery system where for a discount price, you can get a random pin. (These pins will not duplicate what you have already ordered, you're guarantied a completely different pin!) This will be available in the add-on selection at the end of the survey.

I will also be letting you know when survey answers will be locked in advance (you'll still be able to edit your address after that!) so feel free and go back to change your answers if you changed your mind this week!

And as I promised, here is an example of the rainbow pins.

As you can tell the epoxy used to make soft enamel into faux hard enamel, often dulls the colors underneath and the chances of B-Grades are a lot higher. Thus: soft enamel. (also check out that definition!)
